LCC - Standards Based WiFi Battery Control Clinic

- by Stan Ames

Digital Command Control (DCC) is an international standard initially designed to locomotives and accessories.  Its companion
Layout Command Control was initially designer to bring standards to layout automation.  Recently manufacturers have begun to integrate
DCC and LCC and also have begun to utilize LCC specification for locomotive 2 way communications.

The result is the emergence of multi manufacturer standards based communications between wireless Wi-Fi throttles and LCC/DCC locomotive decoders.
The results are products that can work either with track powered DCC or battery powered LCC.

This clinic will discuss and demonstrate both the ability of LCC to be used to automate functions on a Large Scale layout
as well as using LCC to wireless control battery powered Large Scale locomotive.
